1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Quizzar Go mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Account Registration and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Guest accounts are designed as temporary, localized sessions. Data generated in a guest session is not guaranteed to persist, particularly if the application is uninstalled or application data is cleared prior to registering a full account.
• You reserve the right to terminate your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Quizzar Go offers premium subscription tiers (e.g., Pro Weekly, Pro Monthly) processed exclusively through Google Play Billing.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is disabled prior to the end of the current billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Google Play account settings, and you will retain access to premium features until the current billing period concludes.
• All payments are subject to Google Play's terms of service. Refunds are governed strictly by Google Play's refund policies.
• We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will only apply to future billing cycles.

5. Usage Limits and "Generations"

• The Service operates on a usage-tier system utilizing "generations" (digital tokens) required for quiz creation and AI chat interactions. Both Free and Pro accounts are subject to specific generation allotments and refill schedules, as detailed within the application.
• Generations are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for fiat currency, and possess no monetary value.
• We reserve the right to adjust generation limits, refill intervals, or the token cost of specific features at our sole discretion, with reasonable notice provided for material changes.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

By using the Service, you agree not to:

• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with rate limits, generation costs, or payment verification mechanisms.
• Utilize the Service to generate, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or explicitly harmful.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code or backend infrastructure of the Service.
• Access or attempt to access another user's account without explicit authorization.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice or refund.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Quiz content and chat responses are generated dynamically using third-party artificial intelligence models (including Google Gemini). You acknowledge that AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually inappropriate. The Service is intended for supplementary learning and entertainment; you must not rely on generated content as a definitive source for academic, medical, legal, or professional decisions.

8. User Content and Licensing

You retain all ownership rights to the documents, text, and images you upload for quiz generation. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process said content solely for the purpose of providing the Service's features (e.g., transmitting it to our AI provider). Uploaded source files are strictly transient and are not retained post-generation. Generated quizzes saved to your "vault" remain securely stored in our database until deleted by you.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, and underlying codebase, is the exclusive property of Quizzar Go and its developers. You are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or creating derivative works based on the Service without express written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL QUIZZAR GO OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (III) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
